Kanye West Acted Like A Dick

So, I think it’s easy to see why I named the post what I named it. FULL DISCLOSURE: I dig Kanye West as a musician and as a personality. The dude is polarizing and talented, however, he sure can act like a dick sometimes… like during Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards when Taylor Swift won an award. Poor girl… obviously shaken up by Kanye taking the stage and saying what he feels.

And, there is nothing wrong with Kanye saying what he feels, but it shouldn’t be during someone else’s shine… that’s just straight hatin’ right there. Now, while I will admit it cracked me the hell up because that’s just Kanye being Kanye, I really wish Taylor gave him a swift kick in his nuts because he deserved it. In fact, I wish Kanye would offer up his testicles to be smashed by a Brazilian JuJitsu fighter of Swift’s choosing in order to make up for his stupidity. Instead, we have to settle for this apology he put out on his website:

I’M SOOOOO SORRY TO TAYLOR SWIFT AND HER FANS AND HER MOM. I SPOKE TO HER MOTHER RIGHT AFTER AND SHE SAID THE SAME THING MY MOTHER WOULD’VE SAID. SHE IS VERY TALENTED! I LIKE THE LYRICS ABOUT BEING A CHEERLEADER AND SHE’S IN THE BLEACHERS! …………………… I’M IN THE WRONG FOR GOING ON STAGE AND TAKING AWAY FROM HER MOMENT!…………….. BEYONCE’S VIDEO WAS THE BEST OF THIS DECADE!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FANS IF I LET YOU GUYS DOWN!!!! I’M SORRY TO MY FRIENDS AT MTV. I WILL APOLOGIZE TO TAYLOR 2MRW. WELCOME TO THE REAL WORLD!!!! EVERYBODY WANNA BOOOOO ME BUT I’M A FAN OF REAL POP CULTURE!!! NO DISRESPECT BUT WE WATCHIN’ THE SHOW AT THE CRIB RIGHT NOW CAUSE … WELL YOU KNOW!!!! I’M STILL HAPPY FOR TAYLOR!!!! BOOOYAAAWWWW!!!! YOU ARE VERY VERY TALENTED!!! I GAVE MY AWARDS TO OUTKAST WHEN THEY DESERVED IT OVER ME… THAT’S WHAT IT IS!!!!!!! I’M NOT CRAZY YALL, I’M JUST REAL. SORRY FOR THAT!!! I REALLY FEEL BAD FOR TAYLOR AND I’M SINCERELY SORRY!!! MUCH RESPECT!!!!!

Is the apology good enough? Well, that’s entirely up to Taylor Swift, but whatever, I’m not in this inner circle of musicians (and it’s not for a lack of trying, but lack of any degree of talent) and am just a dumb fan that watches videos on YouTube… funny how MTV has these awards considering they don’t show videos anymore. Anyway, I wish all the luck to Taylor Swift and will never admit that I enjoy her music and Kanye… stop being dick.

In a related note, I couldn’t find one on Lady Gaga and I was watching that performance intently. She and Kanye should get together because both are batshit nuts.
